Jimmie Rodgers: Ben Dewberry’s Final Run. Instrumental Cover.
Posted by outdoorgator on February 19, 2025 at 11:56 amThis song is really fun working on. So many directions you could go with this progression. What better way to learn old style country rhythm than by the Father himself! Jimmie Rodgers.

I am in your camp when it comes to recording. I try for one. If it’s bad, then maybe two. It has to be really bad to go for three or I just decide I’m not ready to play it yet and it needs some more work. All those takes, “takes the fun out of it and makes it work for me. The benchmarks Tony suggests I do, but I don’t post them. I like your Jimmy Rogers catalogue. You have built up a nice repertoire. Thanks for sharing.

Yes Sir so true! I have a lot of work left to do on this one! LOL! I was itching really bad to share it. Every time I hit that record button it’s like I’m standing on a stage! LOL! I play it perfectly until I hit record!
