  • St. Annes Reel & Down By The Salley Gardens

Music for St. Patrick’s day. These are short (imperfect), versions; 1
minute 24 seconds total; one done in standard tuning with a pick; the
other in open D tuning finger-picking. The
day has morphed quite a bit from its origins. Enjoy, be wise and safe.

Hey. I love St. Patrick’s Day. I’ll post a song too. ( It was part of my quarterly goals) but I’ve got to record it today.

Thank you @Philb for bringing back fond memories of traveling the Emerald Isle and all the wonderful pub musicians I heard.

Hey @Philb , that mahogany guitar has a beautiful sound – what make is it?

@Bill_Brown It is a Washburn, concert size; all mahogany. It is not that expensive (around $550 when I bought it); but the sound beat out other guitars up to $300 more.

@Bill_Brown I should have mentioned that was in DADGAD tuning.
