@petelanger @Tricia_Lynn
Thanks for listening, and allowing me to waste your time. I was just messing and thought I would share (not sure why). I have found that as I have played longer, it is fun to experiment with different sounds. Thanks again! -
The grandkids have got to love that pedal! What rabbit holes we go down! Such fun.

I have enjoyed using an acoustic amp and different pedals to give a variety of sounds. I have found quite a few used, cheaper, to save. My favorite guitar pedal is a delay. A chorus, or chorus combined with delay is also nice at times. I use a modest reverb to fill out vocals. I hope you get a chance to experiment and see what you like.

awesome ! You have your own laboratory going on !
I do have a TC Helicon which has the harmony option but I stopped using it becuase I didn think it sounded natural. I did buy, and use a stomp box for live performances. The brand is called a Wazinator and it works great. I keep it pretty low but I like the low end thump that helps some songs move along. Happy experimenting !

@TMutter
I was thinking that the stomp box could be useful in some songs. I haven’t been playing with it enough to know how hard it would be to keep the rhythm with it through a whole song. Is it difficult to keep good time with? Is it just a matter of practice with it; or do you have a great sense of timing that translated well?-
I started playing percussion when I was in the 5th grade and played through college so I have a pretty good sense of rhythm. Regarding the stomp box I do think it adds a lot to certain songs. If you are comfortable taping your foot in time then playing the stomp box will sound pretty good. And you dont have to just play the down beat. You can use it to add a punch to the end of a phrase etc. Just takes some experimentation and practice.

Awesome Phil and very inspiring! I have very little experience with any gadgets or electrics. Never even heard of a stomp box before! I do have an acoustic amp but dont plug in very often…however this is an area ive been wanting to explore so your post has got my wheels turning:) thanks brother keep on and stay well
-
@Braden Greetings! I don’t plug in a lot, but have found it useful when I get a little bored. I like to use the delay the most with my acoustic; though for certain songs chorus or a combo of delay/reverb, delay/chorus. I have found used or bargain pedals that work well with what I do. Experiment, and have fun.
