Wow. Even recorded in a studio. My feedback includes this background. The average song is about 3 minutes long. Some say this originated because that was the length of a 45 (and 78) record so radio programming was built around that length. As technology changed with Compact Disk and beyond, most songs still stay in the 3-4 minute range. (There are exceptions of course. Jimi Hendrix and Dylan had 20 minute songs, but they got limited play.) Your song is a little over 5 minutes. That said it is way better than anything I could do record. You and your friends are to be congratulated. Thanks.

Thanks, man. I was a little concerned about the length too, but I had worked on it so long and had so much I wanted to include, I indulged a little bit. When I was working out a lead part, I didn’t want to cut it out. The outro is probably a little long, but we sort of let it go in the studio and I was sort of noodling and the engineer just let it go and liked it enough to keep it. I figured I would indulge myself on this one since it wasn’t going to ever be on a radio or anything as sort of a celebration for actually getting it recorded. I appreciate your feedback and thanks for listening! And don’t count yourself short. You could totally record a song, and I know it would be awesome.

Wow, I’m impressed. I loved the lyrics, vocals and the backing track. Your voice has a haunting quality that I really liked. It sounds like you are on your way so keep going and never give up. You have a gift and you need to use it. Rock on, dude.

Very well done! The lyrics can strike a chord for any of us at some point in our lives. Your vocals remind me of someone, but I can’t put a name to it. Way to go!

Travis– Really enjoyed that song. It has sort of a “happy” sound, with the nice harmonies. Fun to listen to. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for listening! It’s funny because when I play it solo it’s pretty depressing sounding! It’s like a whole different song.
