Nice playing @Marty75. Unfortunately the Eagles (or those who manage their catalog) are notorious for being ruthlessly unforgiving. The time and admiration that you invested while learning to play their music represent one of the truest forms of flattery and it doesn’t hurt the Eagles in any way, on the contrary it opens up listenership to a wider audience.

Yes. Bad deal. I hate how intangible property rights have been abused to the detriment of the Public Domain. Re-mastering and other loopholes holes have thwarted the original intent of protecting creativity while also enriching a culture and destroying the intent of allowing public access after a reasonable period of time. Oh… and nice job.

After a reasonable period….LOL! Copyrights typically last for the life of the author plus 70 years!!! But YT has lost their collective minds on the enforcement. In many cases it’s a money grab by YT for the monetization of videos that creators have poured their heart and souls into and not initiated by the band’s representatives.
I’m sure Marty’s video wasn’t of a viral nature and garnering thousands of views, so what’s driving them to suspend or terminate a user’s account? I have no idea!

Nice one @Marty75 so sorry you got YT issues I found a way around the issue. That has worked for me in the past I changed the title and some words they let it slide but Eagles Bryan Adams and 1 other were very picky about covers. I have never been after money on my You Tube posts just the link so I can post on other sites. Eagles songs deserve to be remembered when people cover them that happens. So I guess I have a hard time figuring out why they are so picky about it. But it is what it is.
