60 year old, beginner.
I’m 65 and I would consider myself completely new at playing guitar. I did do some dabbling in my teens but didn’t stick with it after I moved out of my parents house. The real problem with me with this exercise is that my middle finger and ring finger won’t separate enough for me to fret the fifth fret cleanly as well as muting the A string beneath the E string with my ring finger. I’ll keep at it for the rest of today though and hope I improve.
Beginner and I can’t find the tab notation..doesnt seem to be in lower right corner
thanks for the free 5 day challenge, I’m from Florida and from a family with a musical background. We used to play as a family on weekends at my dads farm in Kentucky and at the time I played Base, but through the years I drifted away from the music. This past year my Younger brother passed away and left me 5 guitars which inspired me to get back into it. I had a teacher for several months but he gave it up to go after a job that he was going to school for. I still have all of the music that we studied, but seem a little lost in trying to stay focused. I’m hoping that this week will convince me to join the TAC and continue to improve.
Thanks,
Excellent start into the 5 day challenge. Greetings from Germany. I am stuck in some songs, hope you way of playing will help to make my guitar talk. Being a long time Springsteen Fan, I like the play – don’t practice mode.
Awesome first video! I previously bought a nice acoustic guitar and started taking lessons, but it never stuck. Looking forward to trying again using your technique.
