I am a 71 yr old and have been playing guitar since I was 8 yrs old. I started on a used Gibson 3/4 size acoustic. My go to is a 1975/76 Tama lawsuit era copy of the Martin D28 which I bought new in 1976. I love the sound, the feel and the playability of that guitar. I am doing the challenge because I am checking out lesson programs for one of my grandsons who will be getting a guitar for Christmas.
Seagull guitar
Yamaha F-310. Tender finger tips make it hard to have clear tones.
Hi, I’m playing along on an old 80’s beautiful green Ovation.
Your website doesn’t play well with my tablet. Long time to load everything. Yesterday was confirmed today with confusion over which strings are which. I don’t know which is the G. Got the rhythm on the 6th and 5th strings yesterday then 1st half of lick today. Lots of time rewinding lesson video to get what you are saying. Playing Martin little Martin.i’m 60 year old only plucked some licks and strummed a few cords. Cleaning out attic and it’s either play it or donate it.
I am playing a Yamaha FGX-413SC. I bought it well over 20 years ago.
I am playing a an early 90’s Fender Jaguar. I know it isn’t an acoustic, but it is the one guitar I have held on to over the years.
Cort AD Mimi and a Fender DG27SCE electric/acoustic. Been playing off and on for years more off than on. Getting ready to retire and I’m determined to become campfire KING!
Washburn WA90. I turned 50 this year and was telling my family how cool it would be to play guitar well, here we are. They got me this guitar this past Christmas. I look forward to learning how to play.

Martin GPC 10E Road series
Hi. I like the idea behind these lessons, and I’ve always liked the way Tony teaches. Thank you for that.
Is this website always so glitchy? I can hardly get the video to play and have almost no control over play once I get it going. I’ve rebooted my tablet, and reloaded the website SEVERA Times with no luck. It makes me very reluctant to pay for the course when I’m not sure I can get it to play consistently. I didn’t have as many problems on Day 1. Very frustrated today. I’m not completely sure I’ll even get this comment to post.
I have 3 guitars, two acoustic and one electric, and am playing an Epiphone Hummingbird.
Thank you
1982 Ovation Balladeer
Would like it if each measure had its own looping play video. So like today would have five total “Play” videos. A looping video of each of the four measures, then the last “Play” video would be the complete combination looping.
I’m starting with a Greg Bennett Model D-1/BS.
I’m 75 yrs old. been trying to learn since 2005. I’ve bought 7or 8 guitars….kant play one!!!.
this one is a epiphone ” pr35u. had the action lowered when I bought it.
I am playing a Takemine G20 w/ cedar top that I had set up to help me. It was a birthday/retirement present from my wife.
Im playing a yamaha F310 that I found in a charity shop. It feels lovely but Ive not got a clue if its good or bad!
Ibañez Performance
I play a couple of Breedloves, one parlor and one full size. I set up both of them and one requires constant monitoring of humidity since it’s a “thirsty” wood construction and I live in a very dry climate. My 60 year old Gibson classical guitar doesn’t get much use these days.
Martin Sc-13e
Hi Tony. I’m playing a Martin SPD-16K that I got new in 2004. It has a spruce top and koa back and sides. Sometimes I can’t believe how much the sound has improved over the years. It sounds so sweet now. Take care.
Fender Tele Richie Kotzen and/or Fender Highway. My original 1988 Aria thing has an action like an egg-slicer just as you decribed!
10 minutes a day really means 60 minutes for me so I wonder about having the time needed for “30-day Jumpstart”
