@cadgirl the lower bout is about the same width as a dreadnought. The upper bout is narrower. I think the depth (front to back) is a bit thinner than a dreadnought as well but maybe 1/2 to 1 inch. Depending on how thin a pick you use, the Taylor will be significantly brighter in tone.
