Hi Sandy S, I believe you’re starting with the 30 Days to Play is the correct path as a beginner. Always keep in mind that you can go through the course at your own pace. You can take as long as you need, go back to individual lessons as many times as you want! It’s perfectly fine to take more than the 30 days, especially as a true beginner. I would say that you should probably steer clear of the Daily Challenges for now and concentrate on the lessons in the 30 Days course. Once you feel more comfortable and confident with your playing, then maybe take a look at the Daily Challenges – you don’t have to participate in them if it involves something you can’t do yet. Once you’ve completed the 30 Days course, Then try to learn a song or two, as @Alfred has suggested. I also suggest that you take a look at the Skills courses after you’ve completed the 30 Days. In there, you’ll find some definite “next step” kind of things. As far as Fretboard Wizard goes, you bought it, so you own it! You will have it for as long as you’re a TAC member so you can start it anytime you want. Just like the 30 Days course, it’s something that you can do at your own pace and go back to as often as you like.
Welcome to TAC Sandy, and have a fun guitar journey. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to post them on the Forums. The TAC Family is here to help each other get the best guitar experience possible 😉
