I sought this post out today in search of comfort, and it delivered. Suddenly playing became overshadowed with self-criticism, doubts, and discontent. My ears are focussed on the mistakes and buzzing sounds, fingers cry out in pain, and heart fails to believe in progress. This post reminds me it is a temporary and necessary pothole in the road.
