Yes @stevieblues , it’s well worth it👍 In fact, taking that shape with the index barring at the 5th fret (A chord) or the 7th fret (B chord) is a great place on the neck to work it and practice it, because there is less string tension and should be easier on the fretting hand – you won’t have to squeeze as hard.
