Hi @mkjohnsons , I do the same as Loraine. Wipe down (especially strings) after playing and thorough cleaning when I change strings. My luthier showed me all I ever need are soft cloths one barely damp emphasis on barely and one to wipe any residual. I do one fret at a time and keep at it until both cloths no longer pick up dirt. Same deal on the body. No wax no oils no polishes for me. My oldest guitar turned 100 last year and all is well.
