It’s interesting, I have heard that saying of course, but I hadn’t put this guitar specific thing together with that saying. “Paralysis by analysis”. I should have known that’s what I’d do with guitar since I am prone to that dark hole. I find it fascinating how many ways we can fool ourselves. 🙄
