    @69Brian OUCH! So happy it was only a dislocation, but that’s pretty serious too. Even though it only required resetting,, your joint experienced a major shock. You’ll want to take it slow reintegrating use of that finger to avoid damaging it further. It can lead to arthritis and slow healing. There’s plenty you can do in place of fretting for a while. You can mute strings and practice strumming, picking patterns with your right hands, study some theory, identify keys of songs and their chords, etc,
