First, thanks for posting. Second, don’t think you have or are doing anything wrong. There is no right or wrong on our guitar journey except to stop. Even having fun can diminish for a while or at least become minor. (See what I did there? 😅 )
Anyway, our guitar journey is long and has many twists and turns. One thing that happened for me and it sounds like it is happening for you, I simply didn’t know enough about the big wide world of guitar music to really know what I wanted. So getting immersed was one way for me to understand what my options were so I could figure out what I wanted to focus on.
Keep posting. It’s great to follow someone else’s journey.
