For reasons I don’t understand, my attempts to reply to @Guy_H always direct instead to @jumpinjeff . Sorry about that.

I am so glad to have met you (actually that part applies to both of you, Guy & jj), and I’m really honored to have been credited in Guy’s original post as having helped on his journey. That feeling is certainly mutual.

Now here’s the funny part. As luck would have it, the individuals you specifically mentioned (except for jj, who was likely there in spirit) were together in the same listening room on the very same day you posted this thread. I was with Sharon Tiano & @Dom_T , @DMart , Robert Carhart, Jr., Carol M, Eryn M, Doc How (all of whom met through TAC) and my wife, Rose, to see Under the Oak at City Winery in Philadelphia. I’m sure jumpin’ jeff wishes he had been there too, since he’s another longtime friend of Maggie Pope, a member of UTO who happened to be a TAC staffer in a community relations role back when I joined in 2017. Another coincidence is that I just tried to telephone jumpin jeff last night for the first time in many months. So imagine my surprise when I read your post this morning, I credit you, Guy, for creating this wonderful disturbance in the force that ties into what Douglas Adams called the “FIAT,” i.e. the fundamental interconnectedness of all things.

I expect our paths will continue to cross via virtual open mics, and I hope some day we meet somewhere for an in-person, face-to-face jam. It’s such a wonderful journey along the guitar path where everyone wants to help each other. We’re blessed to have struck gold!
