Hey @Debv22 – Try making the C with only 2 fingers to start. Forget putting your index on the first fret of the B string and just play it with your index and middle on the A and D strings. Practice that until it all sounds clean. Do some finger stretching exercises over the next few days and gradually try sneaking that old index back onto the B string until you get it clean. Take time and go slow.
