lol You are really thinking this through. What I’ve noticed, and I hope this is addressing your question/answer is that if I go SLOWLY I hear more separate strings. But I notice that Tony doesn’t go SLOWLY, he strums the multiple strings as a unit (“quickly”), going through it in one “brush” motion. I’ve noticed what you’ve noticed, I think, and then I remind myself to complete the “ocean wave” completely through and not “pick” each string as I’m passing through the group of strings (chords).
