*~I Just completed the 5 day guitar routine challenge today ~

    * In the last month I’ve completed “30 days to play” and now this…that’s more playing than I’ve done in the last few years!

Now on to the daily challenges and working SLOWLY on “Ain’t No Sunshine” on the side.

I love this course and Tony’s friendly & concise teaching style. I love the way that he encourages to just do our best and not worry about perfection. I don’t feel intimidated or stupid and love having the liberty to progress at my own pace. 🙂

@PattyV Congratulations on completing the 30 days to play and the 5 day guitar routine. If you haven’t done so yet, consider taking the Next 6 chords, and the most important one, Stretching. You want to avoid hurting yourself, which happens more often than you would think. I got tendonitis and tennis elbow from not stretching and overuse and pulling on muscles and tendons. I couldn’t play for nearly 6 months while it healed (with the help of acupuncture and an ortho.

Tony does have a great attitude and laid back style. I too like that he preaches progress over perfection. You will grow and get better just by continuing to move forward and not worrying about perfecting it in the early days of playing. Some of these skills are beginner skills, but others are intermediate and advanced, so no wonder we find them challenging.

Keep at it. You’re doing great!

Thankyou Loraine that’s good advice about the stretching too…I will watch that.

      Many Blessings! Patty
