7 Years?!!!!!! No Way!!
I’m staggered that it’s 7 years since I first found and joined TAC! I jumped in with relish and soaked up all the guitar goodness going on and I know without a doubt that my playing improved dramatically. But guess what? I got out of the habit and have to hold my hands up and admit I haven’t logged on since July 2021!!! UNTIL NOW!
Well, a lot has changed in my world which is partially why I’ve been absent and also it seems plenty has changed with how TAC looks … although I haven’t delved too deeply as yet, but first things first, I need to get back into the habit as my acoustic playing definatey needs attention!
So by writing this sort of TACiversary post, I best get myself solidly back on board. Look forward to catching up with some of the “older” members and meeting new ones…. and of course, Mr P himself!!

Well in some ways a lot has changed Post COVID. But what hasn’t changed is Tony’s good instruction and an active forum. This year songs are being emphasized as practical examples of techniques. Jam clubs are no longer. Fretboard Wizard is reworked but still even more excellent. Acoustic Tuesday is gone and quarterly zoom sessions are replaced with a quarterly last week emphasis on the Guitar Journal. There are a few of us long timers still around. Tony’s family has grown with two new wee ones. All in all Welcome Back.

thanks guys, I remember you Jumpinjeff! … glad to be back!… I shall ease myself back in gently with the daily challenges and hopefully pick up more activity as time allows!
