  • Another Small Win!

I had another small win this evening ๐Ÿ™‚ . While todayโ€™s lick was short, I could not manage the hammer-ons in measures 2 & 3. I was discouraged at first, but I went at it again and used my pinkie on the 3rd fret of the high E and my ring finger for the hammer on. Then I could hear it! Yeah! And then went on to finish the lick,:play it some more and smile ๐Ÿ™‚

Use what is comfortable for you. THis was sort of a quiz to figure out how to move your fingers down to the point of hammering on. Good for you for figuring something out.

I have been encouraged when others have had to modify fingering, so I tried it and it worked ๐Ÿ™‚ !

Great win @Elaine ! As I was working on integrating the lick into a chord progression coming out of a G chord, I found the fingering you described to be better suited for my playing as well. Glad you experimented and persevered! 😃
