What a marvelous business model. I was a member from Sept. ’19 to Sept. ’20. I didn’t really use TAC more than twice a week or so, and so chose to not renew. I tried to log in a couple days after the one year date, and the login failed, so I thought good, I’m out. No worries, move on and lots of other things to do in life. About six months later, while looking up something else, I discovered my credit card had been charged the $197 in mid-September 2020. Hmm. I didn’t ask to renew. My wife pays our bills, so I never knew of the charge at the time. I thought I had read the details of the one year program reasonably carefully, but must have missed where it said there is automatic renewal. When I contacted TAC, I was told politely but firmly that there is a 60 day cancellation available, and I missed it. This is a caution to anyone out there that isn’t aware of the automatic renewal. For those of you that are good with being involved indefinitely, I wish you the joy of it, but you should be well aware that it will charge your card again at each one year joining anniversary.

Lots of things auto renew and honestly 60 days should be plenty of time to notice and resolve it on your credit card. Actually, it’s longer than many others give to do that. Respectfully, this is an issue with someone other than Tony.

Maybe give the site a shot again since you’re already locked in for the next few months and be sure that auto renewal doesn’t happen next time round if you’re still not liking it.

BTW, it won’t kick the auto-renew in if the CC information is changed, expired or wrong. FWIIW. I also believe you can tell them, even now, don’t auto-renew me again.

Doesn’t help now, so if they aren’t willing to make an exception, get something out of your membership until September. Practical advice from @soCal_ian

      Good Luck.
