One of the neat things for me is the bits and pieces I pick up on youtube. Since ive been in this total immersion for the last 2 and a half months, I keep youtube constantly going and it continues to go to different sites . Ill pick up an idea from this one or that one by just the simple turn of a phrase. I always return to tac with a new hint. For instance, this morning a site said throw out the odd one and it is most likely the key of the song. So if C and D are the chords beside each other then the G is most likely the key. Just gotta love tac and all that it has turned me onto.

Cool @Mrfredsporty ! Thanks for sharing. The elusive Fretboard Wizard course has a great way to figure the key of a song as well. Hope they get it back up and going soon! 😃

Yes, @Mrfredsporty , C and D are the major chords in the key of G. The easier way to figure it out is that the major chords in any key are always the 1st, 4th and 5th.

See my comment under the old coach’s small win about playing chords in reverse: Chords – (or in this case – sdrohC)

    MG 😀

@Mrfredsporty , good job on your recent find on youtube. You’ll do fine when the fretboard wizard starts back up. You already see how the chords fit together. FBW will further explain.
