Calling All Phoenix area residents (or AZ residents) – Local Jam Club
Our Phoenix area Jam Club is currently meeting both virtually and in-person (responsibly outside at local parks in our beautiful winter weather). Our next virtual meeting is this Wednesday 4/7 at 6:30 pm. Message me if you are interested in joining us.

Hi @David_M_Dm! It’s a few days later and I’m wondering how your meeting went. I’m the San Diego organizer (for lack of a better term) and wanted to set something up. With the changeover from the old site (where we had at least 30 members) I can now search and only find 7 in the area including myself which is pretty frustrating. I realize we’re being told that Jam Clubs weren’t an official part of TAC (sure seemed like it though) but now I feel cut off from the other people in my area. I feel especially bad about the fact that some were very recent TAC members, contacted me to join the Jam Club and we never even had a chance to meet in person due to the lockdowns. So, returning to the original question, was your Jam meeting a success after posting this message here?

Hi SoCal_Ian. We have started up doing both virtually meetings and live. We have had 2 live meetings in 2021 outside at a park. We also had about 30 people prior to the new website design.
As to how this posting worked. I got zero interest from this posting. Separately I did use the member search for people in the Phoenix area. I was able to find about 6 people and sent direct messages. 3 got back to me and 1 actually joined our virtual jam this week.
We have about 10 active members and I have the emails for most of the members from the old website. That is the best form of communication.
BTW the member search is not working well. I only found a handful of people in the search and none of them were my current member list even though they have updated their profiles with their location. Hopefully it will get better.

I just joined TAC and live in the Surprise area. Is your group still meeting? I would be interested in learning more and if its not to far being a part of the group.
