    Big Win! I think I did it!!!! I tuned to ‘open D’ using the tuner on my guitar. Two strings just didn’t sound right so I tuned them by my ear. I think I got it!!! going to try Thursday’s lesson tomorrow.

    a week of lessons and finally, the open d is temporarily De-funct. Happy to learn, happy to be done.

      That’s how I felt last year. Try again when we do more w/ open D. good luck!

    Great win, for sure! Though I knew about open tunings before, I only recently started exploring them, and find it really exciting to expand the guitar playing horizons. Have fun with your new discoveries!
