Daily Challenge – 3 different speeds?
I’m guessing this was probably covered/discussed somewhere??? But, what happened to the three different speeds for the daily challenge? This was something that was REALLY helpful for me.
(I also enjoyed seeing people’s guitarsenals on their profile pages :() -

I was wondering this as well. I just joined the website, I hear the videos reference 3 different speeds but can’t find it. I can play the videos on 1x, 1.5x, and 2.x but the sound quality is weird when I play it on 2x.

@Master-TJ and @Theorose The old site listed the bpms at 3 different speeds. The current site uses 1x, 1.5x and 2x. I believe this is what has replaced the previous 3 bpm speeds.

Thanks, Loraine! Was the sound weird on the fast speed on the old site as well? Or am I the only one with that issue?

It is distorted at the higher speed. It’s like Speedy Gonzales gone spazzy. I don’t remember it being like that on the old site. I always thought the higher speed was how it was actually being played and then it was just slowed down for the 2 lower speeds. Now it seems the reverse with the lower speed being how it was played and then just being sped up for the higher two speeds.

The old site had 3 different recordings. One for each speed.

Yah it’s distorted and can’t play to it. That is unfortunate.

This was the question I was going to ask. Glad I’m not the only one! Yes it does sound pretty weird at 2x but I guess by then you’re just using it for timing so you could turn it down a bit and literally just follow the pace on the vid.

The other thing I’m thinking is that when the ‘speed challenge’ versions come around, then we will have the Fast version. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
