As ive begun recording with voice memo with my ipad Im beginning to discover something. As Im singing(?) with the guitar I find Im singing slightly differently. After getting over the initial scariness and startling sound of my voice I found that if I articulated better and pretended that I had more confidence i actually sounded a little better.Play and sing with feigned confidence and you might start sounding better. At least thats what Im feeling.

@Mrfredsporty that “feigned” confidence is perhaps letting go of your inhibitions and you are hearing more of how you might / could actually sound! Great win! 😃

No question about it, @Mrfredsporty . It’s simple mechanics. When you have, or even pretend to have, more confidence, you push the air out of your lungs harder. That means you have greater pressure going through your voice box and you can make the note you intend instead of something that’s not quite what you wanted.
