First notable small win
On today’s daily challenge (Sleigh Bells) I thought this might be tough to learn. But got it pretty quickly at .5 speed. Then it was simple at .75 and 1x. So I thought I’d give it a go at 1.25. Easy. Then at 1.5 and got it in just two tries!!! Played at that speed several times and tried at 1.75. Hit it right on the third pass but then it all fell apart. Even tried at 2x once but it was no where close. 🙂 This is the first time I’ve ever done a challenge successfully at faster than 1x!!! Small win that feels big right now!

Fantastic win @NMhiker ! A trick my guitar teacher has me do sometimes is play at a speed just past my ability and then go back to the slower speed. It tricks the mind.

Now that’s what it’s all about! The amazing thing for me was going back to the 30 day challenge, 7 months in, and realising that things I struggled to play I could rattle off at double speed. You have a great win there and believe me it is only the start of good things to come if you keep up that consistency of playing. 🤟😎🎸 Darren (Moonhare)
