Getting along with Nashville
Today is the first day of using Nashville tuning (the bottom fours strings are an octave higher) I did the daily challenge of “getting along with others” (Pinky workout)
Weird and interesting. One benefit is that it makes vertical navigation easier. When I hit the octave change I know what string I am on!

I had to look up Nashville tuning. Sounds pretty interesting. This is when having multiple guitars to tune differently comes in handy. 🙂

I first heard about it on Acoustic Tuesday 174 around the 6 minute mark.
It is a challenge and after mucking around on it for a while I will move the strings from my main workhorse to a spare guitar that someone lent me.
They are the high strings from a 12 string set. There is a nice vid on AT 174 of a cool performance with the tuning.

@Timbothirroul , I was just watching some of the older Acoustic Tuesday shows, not as far back as 174 thou. But, I just put it on my notes to pull up. I have missed a lot of them and Tony usually has something that is totally interesting. Good for you for trying it out.
