  • Going back one month

Posted by AMPSweeney on May 26, 2026 at 7:30 am

In April we had a week of BB King. I’d love to go through those 5 lessons, How do I navigate the website to take me back there? I think Tony said we can go back one month.

I can never figure out how to go back through the website. I made a spreadsheet of all of the lessons for a given year with links to the specific lessons.

You can go back six weeks through the website but Moose’s google sheet handles it more gracefully.

Thank you Pete for sharing your spreadsheet with lessons! I’m in the BB King week.

@Moose408 I’m going to build a website with links to the Challenges. I’m using your google sheet as reference and I’ve got a question:

I’m finding the links in your sheet don’t all look the same. They all start out the same with the blabla://tonypolecastro.com/lessons/songname-all-lowercase/ but some of them have songname-all-lowercase-2/ and
    others have songname-all-lowercase-2-2/

Do you have any idea what those numbers do? I’ve tried out the links without them and they still take you there.

They are TAC internal links that are used to distinguish between the various years of a set of challenges. So the link for the 2025 Sweet Home Chicago classes will be different than the 2026 Sweet Home Chicago class pages. I believe the reason they do this is so the comments under each Daily Challenge video apply to a given instance of the challenge. Meaning you aren’t going to see comments from years past when you do today’s challenge.

The format changes a lot, so I have been unable to decipher it for predicting future links.

Awesome that you even have an inkling! Well done! I suppose the naked song title will suffice.
