Going Home (original)
I wrote this a short time ago. Yes, it is quite sloppy, sentimental. I have been leaning a bit nostalgic lately. I didn’t really practice it much, or have the lyrics down; so you’ll have to forgive stumbling on the lyrics in phrasing with the guitar. I didn’t write the chords down either. There were 8, not difficult; but I confused myself along the way. LOL Maybe you can relate to my experience. People, friends/family, are the key. I am thankful all my friends, face to face or here, and what you have meant through the years. I am also thankful for the friend who sticks closer than a brother who walks with me every day. If you can bear with my singing, maybe you have been here also.

Hitting 112° today.
Hoping to visit my daughter in Oley PA in September. It will be a welcome change.
