Not exactly a win, but I brought home a Korg KDM-3 metronome today, thought it time to start working with a steady beat and not so much my out of sync internal clock 😂

Definitely a small win @subsailor731 ! Practicing and playing with a metronome will help you develop an ability to play with consistent timing throughout a song or practice session. Have fun! 😃

@subsailor731 Working with a metronome is a great win. I have one on my IPhone and have wondered if I would be better off with a stand alone like the Korg KDM-3. I looked up the reviews on it and it’s looks like you bought yourself a very good one. hmmmm…… I just added one to my Amazon account.

@subsailor731 , i did purchase the Korg Metronome. Just opened it up and turned it on. Just about jumped out of my skin when the sound came on. YIKES!! Yes, it has a volume control, thank goodness. It’s smaller than I thought, about 4 1/2 ” tall. So far, I like it. I like that it has a timer. I really think it’s going to help me out with the Tony Challenges. I can dial down the speed a little at a time if need be. Thanks for posting.

@Cadgirl Cool, it does have a timer feature and about 6 million different sounds, I think they call them voices. You can change the beats per measure too, so 4/4 or 3/4 to some really odd time signatures, you can even have 1/8 notes etc. It seems like it does a lot for such a small package.
