  • How do I find past Daily Challenges?

Posted by Canadart on April 5, 2023 at 6:22 pm

Feature question: I was working on the Daily Challenge last week and missed a few days and now I can’t find how to get back to where I left off. How do I find past Daily Challenges? Thanks for your help!

OK two things today – first – for challenges in the current month – select Daily Challenges from the menu on the left, that brings up the Today’s Challenge screen for whatever day it is, when you select the “Start Challenge” button the menu will change to show all the Challenges for the current month (and you can then select any Challenge – IN THE CURRENT MONTH.

second – for challenges from PREVIOUS month’s you will only be able to retrieve the previous month challenges if you selected AND MARKED that challenge “Favorite” in the month while they were current. So, BEFORE the end of last week of a month’s sequence (and to be clear for April ’23 – that’s today) be sure to mark any sessions you might want to go back to as a “Favorite”. Otherwise you’ll have to wait until the set of challenges come around, again.

This seems to a problem for many newbies (myself included, back in the day). It’s not emphasized in the description of the challenges and lot’s of folks miss out on saving something they think will automatically be available for retrievable.

    Hope this helps.

Nice explanation Kona_Bruce! As a point of clarification, this month’s daily challenges are available all weekend until midnight on Sunday. Not sure what time zone, my guess would be mountain time.

Aloha Steve, thanks for the correction, went back in and confirmed my error (short term memory, the second thing to go … I don’t remember what the first thing is). My apologize to anyone who may have suffered a panic attack, and I hope it serves in the future as a “Favorite”s reminder – early and often is the best strategy.

Hi @Canadart Two things — All the lessons rotate back around, so if you happen to miss a lesson or two, you’ll see them again in 8-9 months. This is also a great way to gage progress as time goes by. Are you able to learn and play lessons faster and easier than the last time – and yes, you will remember many of them.

Another option is if you know the name of the challenge, you can search someone else’s favorited lessons, and watch the video that was saved. I tend to favorite all the lessons so I have access to them. You could go on my profile and under favorites bring up all the saved lessons. If you know the day and name of the lesson, you could find it and take the lesson.

Thanks @Loraine for the hint … as I did not know I could look at someone elsesvorites. I have this issue of not being able to see previous moths lesson (and hence do not fav them)

    My two cents–

I just print them off when I have the TAB for the lesson open and am working on that.

I keep them in a big 3-ring binder notebook, and label them for month & year, and also scribble any notes about the challenge itself somewhere on there.

Some have said this seems like sort a pain in the #ss, but if I need to practice, and don’t have access to a computer/internet, I can still practice any challenge any time directly from the notebook.

    Hey— works for me.
