Why fellow Guitar Geeks,
Here we go.
1. How many days per week do you play?
My goal is always 7 days of playing, but it often falls somewhere between 5-7 days a week.
2. what time of day do you play?
I usually play in the mornings following my Bible devotions and prayers. Sometimes life gets in the way for one reason or another, but I usually manage to carve out some time to play later.
3. Where do you play?
I have a dedicated space in my office/ music room where my guitar, music stand and notebooks are always out and ready.
4. How has implementing a consistent guitar routine helped you?
It’s just that, a routine. There is no need to come up with a plan. I sign in to TAC, print the tab for the day, watch the video, read comments below for tips and encouragement and then dig into my practicing including working on a song or two.
This has increased my knowledge and skills tremendously.
Having a routine is liberating and time saving.
5. What is one non guitar item that you must have in your guitar routine?
Ha, ha! My audience of one, my devoted Golden Retriever, Blu. Of course, he usually sleeps through the entire session.
