1.) How many days per week do you play?

I almost always spend at least 10 minutes a day, 7 days a week.

2.) What time of day do you play?

I play every night after dinner. This usually ends up being between 7pm and 7:15pm, but sometimes can be as late as 9:00, depending on life that day.

    3.) Where do you play?

I play in my office/study. This is where I conduct all my household administration. This room holds my computer gear, all my paperwork (bills, letters, etc.), and of course my guitar gear.

4.) What was your guitar life like before having a guitar routine & how has implementing a consistent guitar routine helped you? (if possible name 3 ways).

Before joining TAC, I struggled to try to self-learn guitar. I learned to play a couple of chords, and I could pick out the melody (single notes) of a couple of songs. I had no structure or plan to go about learning the guitar.

    – TAC has given me the structure I need to be a successful guitar student. I’m able to approach each practice session knowing what I’m going to work on and building on the foundation of the previous lessons.

    – A consistent guitar routine has also enabled me to branch out and start working toward learning songs in addition to the regular TAC exercises. Having that consistent routine allows me time to do both.

    – I am enjoying my guitar playing much more. Most days, progress still seems very slow in coming, but I am definitely able to look back and see significant progress (even if chord changes are still a struggle).

5.) Bonus Question: What is one non-guitar item that is a must have in your guitar routine?

    Water!!!
    Guitar practice is thirsty work!
