1.) How many days per week do you play?

I play 7 days per week (Monday through Sunday).

When feasible and work/chores are done of course, I always try to exceed my 10 minutes. I like to get TACs lessons down the best way possible each day and continue throughout the week and then go back to refresh and play it better.

2.) What time of day do you play?

I have been working remotely from home since last year 🙏 so a quick break in the AM around 10 , pick a bit, then again at lunch time another 10 minutes or so , then I try to follow up again before bed around 10:30. (30 minutes + per day) depends on my work load… shhhhh 🤫 – don’t tell the boss.

    3.) Where do you play?

I play in my guitar music room / make shift office , I’ve noticed it’s the best sounding room in my house for acoustics. The dogs don’t mind either , Roxy (our new edition) is below hanging out with me.

4.) What was your guitar life like before having a guitar routine & how has implementing a consistent guitar routine helped you? (if possible name 3 ways).

Before I joined TAC I had no routine , I would just pluck around on the weekends to songs or when friends or family came by to sing along. I wasn’t being consistent in my playing nor was I building any positive momentum to continue. I could and would only play for a limited amount of time before losing interest ,because of what I was lacking in a new found routine.

Since I’ve found TAC and joined in January , I have a pure routine with TACs guidance , I love this man – I really feel I’m playing better each week.

TAC has a become a habit in my good way , even if I don’t log in I still have all my print outs to look at from 30 days to play. I am now programmed to play or mess around with my guitar 10 minutes on the daily. Thank you so much TAC…

Yesterday was my wife’s birthday and one of her favorite songs is Hurt – Johnny Cash version , I was able to get the 5 chords down thanks to the practice chord routine with TAC.

Its so fun and I’m addicted more than ever to make my guitar journey better for me.

5.) Bonus Question: What is one non-guitar item that is a must have in your guitar routine?

Like Tony says Coffee!!! I have a couple of cups in the AM when playing / picking.

In the evening , I usually have a Topo Chico mineral water or maybe maybe a good Texas IPA or 2.

    Guitar Geeks Unite!!!

    Thank you TAC,

    Patrick
