How to view performances
Posted by HeyJude on March 28, 2022 at 9:01 pmHi…newbie to this site & i.t.challenged :-\
How does one view others post if they recorded themselves playing?
I’m not ready to post of course but would like to see others.

Hi @HeyJude , Are you talking about the ‘play for us’? If so you just click on the subject line of the post. If you want to go to the members YouTube channel, click on the url address. Or there might be a ‘watch on Youtube’ icon. If this what you meant by your question? I’ll have to look into the YouTube channel myself, seems some people have one and some don’t, but the song will still be there.

Welcome to the TAC community @HeyJude ! Typically you just click on the video in the post and it will start playing. To go to the video in YouTube, you would click on the title in the video posted on TAC. Occasionally there will just be an address listed in the post, and you’ll have to copy and paste it in a windows address line and hit enter. It will then take you to the video.

@Loraine , I have a question. I went to the youtube app to listen to a song and some TAC members a nice ‘channel’. Looks like a website with their songs on it. Is that something that we can make up on YouTube? Mine isn’t fancy. In fact, i don’t think i even have a channel? Thanks in advance.

@cadgirl, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t have a channel if you’ve already uploaded videos. That is what begins the creation of a personal channel. I think even saving or favoriting videos creates a channel. Go to your account (click on your icon at the top of page) and it will show whether you have a channel.
