In 2014 The Commander of the Navy Seals made a commencement speech to change peoples lives. If you get a chance check it out on youtube. You will be ,as I was, amazed. One of the things he stated was that you should make your bed every morning. Its like the first step to a disciplined life and starts your day off with a victory. Its like Tony says to show up daily even for only 10 minutes. I recently found that by recording my small attempts at singing folk songs daily that I am actually getting on tune more often and not scaring the dogs and cats in the neighborhood.(as much)

I follow the Commanders bed making directive every morning too. My wife stills works so I am the last one up. I do the daily challenge soon after each week day.

@Mrfredsporty , I make a list of things to do. It sits on the kitchen table. We (my husband and I) cant miss it. It can be simple stuff or something that could take days to complete. But do something everyday and one day, it will all be done. Starting out with making the bed is a good start. 🙂

I follow the Admiral’s bed making advice as well, followed by guitar practice. This is how I start every weekday before going to work. Now that I have done it for a couple of years, my day seems off if for some reason I am unable to accomplish these tasks.
