Hello Beatrice, your encouragement is much appreciated. Fun to see you are from the UK. We have a dear couple visiting us from London this week. Happy New Year to you!

Tom, this is a great sounding first song you did for us! Welcome to the TAC forums.

Hi Jack, thank you. It feels good to check off the first one. I look forward to sharing more. I really enjoy hearing others play on this forum.

Very nice, Tom000-18 ! I like the way you went up and down the fretboard with your version. Keep it going.
-
Thank you. The credit for this version goes to Rik Elswit who I was fortunate enough to take some finger picking lessons. His version uses different chord voicing across the fret board plus three finger picking patterns. Trying to learn it was a labor of love.

I actually watched this after your other post. Wonderfully played. You have those bass lines and melodies ringing true. Great stuff and looking forward to more to come.

I’ve got feedback for you. With picking like that, you need to post more!
Nice job!

Well if you are like my first post, it wasn’t a single take. Nice rhythmic melody. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Albert_d, totally true on trying to get something that is post worthy. That is thing, for all the great posts on this forum there are hours and hours of playing that built up to the posting. I find it a fascinating process.

That was fantastic @Tom000-18. Beautiful tone, steady rhythm and relaxed, easy feel throughout! Looking forward to more! 🙌🏼

That was beautiful! Your tone on that guitar is amazing! Solid rhythm on the fingerpicking. I really enjoyed the part with the slides when you went up the neck.
I love the arrangement! Is it yours?
-
Hello Ted_h, thanks for the nice comments. The arrangement is from Rik Elswit who used it as a primary learning lesson. It uses three finger picking patterns and chord voicings up and down the fret board. I learned a lot from it.
