As a self taught guitarist, I have been playing for decades now. Performances on stage, writing songs etc. But I never had “real” lessons, and only practised only occasionally, so I was basically interested in learning how to learn. But as a side effect of Tony’s “consistency thing” comes an important insight: “No matter what you’re about to start – just start. Don’t overthink your plan, and take one step after another. Success is inevitable, if you just do it consistantly.” This doesn’t count only for guitar-playing.

The thing I like about the lessons is that most of it is stuff I would normally never encounter in the sings I like to play. Playing “outside your box” with these random lessons definitely helps you to progress into a more versatile way even if you end up staying in your box.
