Just started this journey 3 days ago, past 2 days I’ve been working on the Blues Bassline activity, still needs some work and I’m gonna skip today to give myself some time to just pat myself on the back for even trying to learn an instrument I’ve never played before. Welcome! There are a lot of choices to help us play here; from the 30 day challenge, to the skill courses, and the daily challenges that run Monday through Friday. Check out where people are playing on the Forum also; and there are VOM (virtual open mics also). I haven’t been able to be involved in them yet, but that live connection sounds good. I hope you enjoy your journey!

Replying to myself cause I did not touch my guitar for two weeks, my living situation has caused so much unnecessary tension and stress in my life that I felt like I couldn’t bring myself to pick up my guitar, but today I did and I’m really glad I did. I actually have the Blues Basseline stored in my brain and worked on the Boogey today and I’m gonna start with the chords library and I’m excited to see if I can finally get that dang G chord cause the finger placement is hard for me. Wish me luck!

Keep at it. Even just picking up the guitar and getting used to picking, musical or otherwise, will get your fingers moving. Just a few minutes a day and it will start to sink in. 40 years I dabbled but got into the routine through TAC and now it is part of my daily life. It does work. Good luck on your journey. Darren 🤟😎🎸
