  • New song to learn Classical Gas inspired by Marty69 “play for us” entry

I just listened to @Marty69 play Classical Gas and I am geeked to give it a try. I downloaded the tabs for it and fingerpicked through it once. It took me a full 15 minutes to fumble through the entire song. But, I think I can do this. I’ll add it to my list of songs to practice on. Maybe this time next year I’ll have it down. So my small win for the day, is setting up a major song to learn. Thanks @Marty69 for the inspiration for this.

Your right @Marty69 , i’ll break it down into segments. Doing the whole song was a bit much. You played it great i might add 😉

@Cadgirl I am working on “American Pie” talk about a long song. Have to fine a way to shorten it. Not singing it, doing an instrumental. Will post soon. 🧐🧙‍♂️😎

I can play the intro to Alice’s Restaurant. Yeah, not going to sing 18 minutes of a ballad, so I just stuck to the intro. Good luck with America Pie. I’ll be watching for it.
