New to TAC
I have “dabbled” in guitar with off and on playing for 50 years. Tried several online and book instructions but never stuck with it. I’ve now finished Tony’s 30 day challenge and my fretting and chords are the best they have been. Just started Fretboard Wizard. Tony makes (re-)learning fun.
I have never owned a good guitar, mostly difficult to play or poor sound instruments. My current one is a 1955 Martin O-15 which was given to me in the 70’s. It was sitting in his grandmother’s attic. It has a great sound but the action is high (3.5mm @ the 14th fret low E) so a bit painful to play. The neck had been epoxyed so it couldn’t be adjusted. After several tries, I found a luthier who lowered the bridge and nut so it was a bit playable.
I finally just ordered a Zager 80 and waiting for delivery. I hope it will be a bit easier to play.
Onward and upward.
