I didn’t know Eric Clapton had a version. I just know Dorothy’s (Judy Garland’s) version. Thanks for a happy thought for the day. “My people come and go so quickly around here”.

I don’t think I did Clapton’s version justice, but I should.have.said it was.whoevet .did the original but ai just happened to be.usimg a.Clapton chord sheet.

Im glad I added.some happiness to your day, and I completely understand your predicament with those around you. I never thought I’d have to deal with so much loss. It hurts.

Thank you so much Artie. It’s such a great song to play and sing (some might wish I didn’t – but who cares). 🙂

I had to explain to my wife. I know I can’t sing, I know I’m probably making your ears bleed, but you know what, I love to sing. Hahahahaha

I’m a big Clapton fan, I had no idea he covered Over the Rainbow. Nobody can touch Judy Garland’s voice for this tune though, except maybe her daughter Liza Minnelli.

It’s simply an iconic song, because of Judy Garland. Check out Eric’s video. Mine is much more Judy Garland than Clapton. Sign of the era we grew up in.
