Pick vs finger
I’ve been a non-pick player forever. Do you think I can still get something from Tony’s courses? I’ve tried a few lessons, some are VERY pick oriented, so wondering if this is the wrong place for me- even though I love TONYS teaching method(s). Is there a way to ask Tony a question? Thoughts?

@tommytheT Welcome to the TAC community. Is there some reason you don’t want to learn to play with a pick? Tony’s lessons cover the use of picks and fingerpicking, but he doesn’t really show finger strumming. There have been others that never played with a pick, but they stuck with TAC and learned the different skills. Why not expand your skill set and learn to play with a pick?

Thanks Loraine. The reason I am ,pickless´ is because (1) I started on classical guitar many years ago; (2) I am a bass player (where I also play finger style) by default, just taking up steel string; (3) I am 70 years old, not sure if I want A WHOLE NEW STYLE; (4) influenced greatly by Jeff Beck-pretty sure he was playing with fingers. Maybe I just avoid the pick lessons? Or maybe just play fingers, no pick? Really enjoy the site, not sure about taking on a pick.
