  • Planning for some guitar free time.

Since I started TAC back in 10/2020 I’ve not had much reason to travel except to my cabin in the mountains. I’ve always had a guitar around and therefore almost never missed more than one day per week. Made it easy to always be fully caught up with the daily challenges by the time the next Monday rolled around. If I practiced M-F right on schedule I’d use the weekend to spend more time on songs in the vault and the technique courses, always something to practice. During the month of April I have two long weekends out of town visiting colleges with my 18 yo daughter and a very busy last week of the month planned at work. I know I’m going to miss at least five days of my usual practice. Seeking advice from folks facing similar situations. My inclination is to make every daily challenge in April a favorite and just keep doing them in order until I’m back on schedule sometime in May. The alternative would be to leave some “missed” lessons until next year, but I have FOMO.

I feel your pain. There is an option to go through one or two missed lessons on the weekend each weekend in April to catch yourself up and have them all completed by the end of the month. I am not sure what the site looks like on a laptop/computer, for now I do all of my TAC stuff on a phone, but there should be a way to get to the missed challenges. Both my daughter’s have moved away, so I seldom see them anymore. Enjoy your time with your daughter and catch up to your challenges as you get the opportunity.

    Cheers

Thanks. Reaffirms my plan on many levels…and yes as much as I love playing my guitar time with my daughter while she is making her very important decisions is so completely precious.
