  • playing with finger injury

Posted by Kim-Fitz on April 7, 2021 at 1:23 pm

I messed up my finger cutting tree limbs last week nothing real serious. Of course it was my fretting hand. Yesterday I tried to play a little and had some success not so much today. I’m staying positive, trying to stay patient, while practicing the sections that don’t use the index finger. Hopefully it will heal soon but thankful I didn’t cut my finger off!

Well, I’m certainly glad you didn’t cut your finger off @Kim-Fitz, you would have had to start learning to play all your chords in a different way.

But, I’m glad your on the mend. And I’m glad that you are pushing ahead and playing what you can. That’s the spirit. Keep it up.

Yes, I don’t know if I would be up for learning to play different. Although I’ve seen a TAV member (I don’t know his name) play on VOM who is missing a finger and he plays incredibly. He really is an inspiration and it reminds me to be patient.
