Position1 Bliss
I’ve been going up and down the fretboard in position 1 (minor pentatonic), calling out the base notes and # note lands in scale! Feeling like this is the start of something!!

Nice one @Marisa ! Lockdowns been lifted over here which means my workloads gone through the roof which has always been a setback to me learning the guitar but I’ve been trying to build a more resilient routine instead of using it as an excuse, even tho I’ve got less time I’ve been trying to learn the fretboard too, so when I’m walking the dog I try visualise the fretboard and name the notes in my head. whilst not as good as actual playing I’m hoping it helps when I can play. #smallwin

Visualization definitely helps. I learned the bones to Blackbird while on vacation without my guitar. Once I got the shapes down, it came a lot easier when I picked it up. Next week…position 2! @Fly
