I am reviewing the blues shuffle, baseline and boogey. After looking at the tabs on each of these it seems as if they are starting from the bottom up. Is that how you read tabs? Secondly on power chords I am having a hard time reaching the notes with my fingers. The chords are not coming out clear. What can I do?

The tabs are usually upside down. Its supposed to look like if you are hunched over the guitar looking down at it. I found this quite annoying and took a while to get used to it when I was beginning because it doesn’t really make a lot of sense because it’s not how you think about it in your head.

Just pay attention to which of the two E strings is the capital E and which is the lowercase e. The capital E is of course the bass string and the lower case the thinner string. I find that quite often cord diagrams will be the opposite or even be going vertical
