Return of an Old friend…
Just got back the Yamaha FG340 that I bought new around1980. After having it around for nearly 40 years I had given it to a local youth group a few years ago.
I decided it would be great to have it back and maybe give it to my daughter some time. I bought a similar guitar and made a swap. Cleaned ‘er up and put on new strings. Looks like new & sounds great!! Now I can actually play music on it too!! 😆

It’s always nice to get an old friend back. Now there’s even a bigger story in that guitars timeline story.

That’s pretty cool, just imagine if one day in the future your daughter passes it on to one of her children.

Sweet. I have passed three guitars along in the last couple of years. To my daughter, to her good friend and to my younger brother. Feels good to give the gift of music.
